![]() ![]() The purpose of the station is once again to research Markers. The whole game would takes place on this space station. Only few (secret) human colonies exist at this time. The moons are still around but some of them were killed by using planet cracker ships to tear them apart in humanity's last stand (possibly Ellie's triumph). Earth's gone, all the people he knew are gone. Isaac wakes up on a space station somewhere far away in space. You would learn all this progressing through the game. How would I continue the story after DS3 and the DLC? Again, I would skip the whole Moon confrontation (too much action in my opinion) and have Isaac wake up from stasis in the future about. That gives you storywise a lot of freedom, new characters and twists.īut that's easy. Some other incident that took place between DS1-DS2, DS2-DS3 or even before DS1. If they ever make a new DS game I think the easiest option will be telling a new story. ![]() Another reason is the plot got way too epic and made Isaac an action hero. Especially because it reminds me of the Reapers from Mass Effect. I'm not sure if I'm in the minority here but I'm not a fan of the lore expansion they did in DS3. So there's heightened security measures for possible unitologist or pirate attacks but the necromorph outbreak starts right under their noses and no one knows until it's too late. Except I would pick a setting that's different from any of the games, probably something set on mars or a different Colony, where the outbreak hasn't started yet but the ishimura incident has already made the news under the earthgov's cover story. So I guess by the time earthgov even realizes what's going on, the moons can easily decimate half of all life on earth.Įven the devs said, dead space 4 would be post apocalyptic, so yeah.īut the movies would be a great way to revive the series, so I'm with you on that. And at the end of awakened, there wasn't 1 or 2, but at least a dozen of these moons surrounding earth (based on Isaac's visions), and they weren't there to make more necromorphs, but to FEED on earth. One marker on ishimura caused the whole expedition to be lost.Īnd the markers are only the initiators of the process. ![]() ![]() One marker on titan station caused an outbreak that destroyed the Colony. It wouldn't even be a proper fight, much less a showdown man. ![]()
